Joining SmartLipo, Liposelection, and the parade of other advanced new liposuction systems, BodyTite™ has begun to generate some considerable buzz in cosmetic offices around the world. BodyTite liposuction, which is still awaiting FDA approval, uses radio frequency waves to liquefy and
remove excess fat cells, all while tightening the skin. The simultaneous skin-firming effects are created by radio waves, which causes the collagen and connective tissue to contract. In fact, early studies suggest that BodyTite may be up to 40 percent more effective in skin-tightening than traditional forms of liposuction.
Because the heat waves break down fat cells prior to their removal, the body experiences less trauma than it might in other forms of lipo. Early tests have shown BodyTite to cause less bruising, swelling, and discomfort. It is important to not that these side effects will still occur, but should be less cumbersome than those experienced after traditional liposuction. BodyTite also is claimed to be particularly effective in areas that are more fibrotic, such as love handles, and gynecomastia (men’s breasts).
If you’ve heard of SmartLipo™, a laser-assisted form of liposuction, you may be wondering how BodyTite is different. In some recent studies, BodyTite has proven five times more effective at body tightening, and takes about half the time to complete, thanks to the simultaneous breakdown and removal of fat cells.
The BodyTite procedure can be completed in the doctor’s office, with local anesthetics, rather than general anesthesia. The patient then wears body shaping garments for a few weeks after the surgery to assist in the recovery process.
When considering any kind of liposuction procedure, it is important to speak with a board-certified plastic surgeon. BodyTite has not been approved by the FDA yet, and is not yet available in the United States. It looks, however, as though it may hit the market in the near future. If you would like to know more about BodyTite, SmartLipo, or the many other forms of liposuction that are or may soon become available to you, contact us and schedule a consultation with a highly-skilled, experienced plastic surgeon in your area.

ReplyDeleteLiposuction Phoenix once stated that, "While we're on the subject of fat. it's widely believed that those of heft have an evolutionary advantage. Perhaps the reason there are so many chubby people, period, is that their forebears w/the metabolic propensity to hold on to fat stores, led to survival during famine." The given list are very comprehensive and given a factual data to inform future patients. It was so nice of you doing this.
